Sizing & Coverage
Each tile covers 1.71 sq ft (15.75" × 15.75"). One box covers approximately 68 sq ft. To calculate your needs, divide your garage's square footage by 68, then add 10% extra to account for cuts and waste.
Example
20 × 20 ft garage = 400 sq ft ÷ 68 = 5.9 boxes × 1.10 = 6.5 → order 7 boxes
A standard 2-car garage is typically 20 × 20 ft (400 sq ft). We recommend 7 boxes for a full installation, including waste for cuts along the edges.
Each box weighs 41 lbs and measures 28 × 17 × 17 inches. Plan for two people when moving multiple boxes.
Product & Quality
Flexfloor Solutions tiles are 15.75" × 15.75" and 0.7" thick. Most competing brands offer 12" × 12" tiles at only 0.5" thick — meaning ours are larger and more rigid. Just like hardwood flooring, bigger tiles create a cleaner, more premium look with fewer seam lines. On top of that, we're priced approximately 25% lower than comparable brands — better product, better price.
Yes. The tiles are made from high-quality polypropylene and are engineered to support vehicles up to 11,000 lbs. For jack or jack stand use, we recommend placing a small metal plate underneath the contact point to distribute the load and protect the tile surface.
The tiles are sold under the Flexfloor Solutions brand.
Installation & Cutting
Use a hand saw or angle grinder to trim tiles to size. For a clean, precise edge, we recommend applying painter's tape along your cut line before cutting — it keeps the tile from chipping and gives you a much cleaner finish.
Warranty
FlexFloor tiles come with a lifetime limited warranty for residential use and a 15-year limited warranty for commercial use, covering defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects that affect the structural integrity of the tiles, provided they have been installed and maintained in accordance with FlexFloor guidelines.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Improper installation or handling
- Cosmetic damage including stains, discoloration, cuts, burns, or scratches
- Exposure to harsh chemicals, UV light, or excessive moisture
- Labor, removal, or reinstallation costs
